Gym Log+ app good for

So Ive updated my review after logging a workout and everything went quite well. I see some others have noted that there are no stats but thats not true as there are comparison logs, summaries and graphs. Ive also not had any issue with adding my own exercises as others have, not sure what thats all about. Again this is a great app if you want something basic. -- Looked at other apps but they all have a lot of bloat and want you to pay for subscriptions and basically nickel and dime the user at ever step. This app is not like that. You pay one amount and get a basic log, which is all I need.
I dont understand the negative reviews. This app is awesome. The more I use it the more features I discover. I have absolutely no need for notebooks or timers. This app has it all. It actually provides more motivation to work out knowing how easily I can keep a history of what I do. The group who designed this app MUST be gym enthusiasts because the app is on target.
Almost the best I have seen so far. Only feature missing is a line per exercise in a workout plan to enter target sets/reps/other notes. Rest is perfect! Esp. workout comparison is great!
Highly customizable and easy to use at the gym. Option to send workout via email to your coach is great and super useful! Best one yet!
This is an extremely functional tool for tracking strength training workouts at the gym. Ive tried them all and this provides the best balance between quick easy use at the gym, and a comprehensive feature set. It also is very readable (fonts and color scheme), which is an issue for me with many competing apps.
Ive found this to be the simplest, most efficient log to use in the gym. I can pre-plan or log my workouts on the go. If I cant find an exercise in the library I can just add my own. At a glance on the logging page I can see what weight I lifted the last time I did the same exercise and when. It will also give me stats on reps, sets, etc. I always went back to paper logs in the past because I found other electronic logs either too fussy or I couldnt customize them for actual use on the go. In the future Ill use this one.

Some bad moments

Interface is super basic, not intuitive and needs a calendar for future planning of workouts. This app feels like it is unfinished.
Didnt have most of the exercises I was looking for, and I couldnt even enter in a full workout routine before it told me I had to purchase the full version...
This app is not free. You can only use it for a short time before you are made to pay to continue.
I absolutely love this App. It is infinitely adaptable to allow for workouts of any configuration. Get the full version and you will not regret it.
Unable to edit workout without completely deleting, and starting over, making this app useless. Avoid this one, there are better apps out there.
I have been using this for over a month now and I have to disagree with the not user friendly review. During a workout I have no trouble adding new exercises, changing the order of the exercises or correcting a miss entry. I workout with a partner and we keep up a very steady pace. Using this app has not slowed us down once and I find it quite user friendly. It may not be what everyone might be looking for but its perfect for me. There is a small gym where we vacation frequently and I was able to build a separate workout with the machines at that facility as I was working out, and later change the order to my liking. I will say before I used this at the gym I built a test workout to get the feel for how the app works before I built my full workout I currently use. Give it a chance, you just might like it!
